Avanade is releasing new offerings to help customers solve complex sustainability challenges and ensure they get the best from Microsoft’s newly announced Cloud for Sustainability.
Avanade notes that Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) is a key business leadership issue. Finding sustainable business models that combat climate change while preserving business growth is a high priority for many organizations.
The Microsoft solutions provider has developed two new offerings based on Microsoft’s Cloud for Sustainability, combining data, green software, and the power of the cloud.
It says this will allow customers to make meaningful progress toward sustainability goals and see results quickly.
Avanade Sustainability Technology Accelerator leverages the company’s cloud and data technology expertise to enable companies to leverage existing data sources and start using the Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability to report on emissions and carbon impacts within weeks.
In addition, the company’s Avanade Sustainability Quick-Start offering will enable the combination of people, businesses, and technology to prioritize actionable actions and rapidly test and scale innovations based on insights generated from the Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability.
“Smarter sustainability actions depend on digital technology,” said Jillade, international consultant and executive sustainability leader.
“T Jillian Moorehanks to the power of Microsoft and people, Avanade’s new services will help customers use data to report emissions reductions and digital technologies to turn ambitious sustainability goals into actionable actions.”
Avanade says it is actively working with companies to accelerate their ESG progress by moving to green cloud and software to reduce resource consumption.
It also leverages AI and the Internet of Things to create safer and more sustainable business models.
Global consulting and engineering firm Wood is one of the organizations Avanade has partnered with to improve efficiency, improve performance and make it more sustainable.
“Our primary goal at Wood is to unlock solutions to the world’s most critical challenges, and climate change certainly fits that description,” said Ann Rosenberg, senior vice president of Wood Sustainability Solutions.
“We share Avanade’s commitment to bringing dig together tal technologies and diversity of thought to grind new ways to meet this challenge.
“The deep digital expertise will help leaders take advantage of the Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability to prioritize positive climate actions and continue their sustainability journeys transparently and ethically.”
Through its status as a global Microsoft sustainability partner and a member of the Green Software Foundation’s steering committee, Avanade provides specialized expertise to help companies rethink their sustainability strategies with digital alternatives, enabling them to generate business value from the Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability.
“Microsoft believes that just as any company currently has a financial system of registration that is the core of their organization, there must be a sustainability system in place,” said Elisabeth Brinton, vice president of Microsoft’s sustainability business.
“Avanade’s new services for the Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability will help organizations use technology to fulfill their sustainability commitments and reduce emissions faster.”
